Subject:     Friendly Reminder of Neighborhood Covenants

The Preserve Property Owners Association is responsible for keeping harmony and enjoyment in the neighborhood, while also helping protect the home values of its residents and ensuring the covenants are followed. Each homeowner is a member of the association, by rite of homeownership, with responsibility to pay dues and follow The Preserve covenants and neighborhood guidelines.

Please take time to review the neighborhood website at PreservePOA.info. Here you will find useful information about our neighborhood.

As a matter of housekeeping, I would like to bring everyone’s attention to a few items that have been brought to my attention and that have come up in conversations with our neighbors:

1. Section 3.08 Animals. … The owner of a pet, leashed or unleashed, is responsible for the removal of feces from any lot not owned by the owner of the pet. Please pick up behind your animals in the common areas and or neighbor’s yards.
2. Section 3.19 Landscaping. No weeds, underbrush or unsightly growth, which would unreasonably interfere with the enjoyment of adjacent property. Please be mindful of all your neighbors and keep your yards up for yourself and neighbors.
3. Section 3.23 Recreational Vehicles and Boats. No Boat, Boat Trailer… Trailer… shall be stored for more than 24 hours unless it is in a garage. We do understand that sometimes it might be necessary to have for a short period of time due to maintenance, projects, etc.; however, we do need everyone to try to be conscientious about the length of time these items are out in driveways, roadways and in the open.
4. Section 3.27 Parking. Please make sure that all vehicles are parked in driveways or garages. Limit parking on the streets. We do understand that sometimes it might be necessary park on the streets for a short period of time; however please be considerate of your neighbors and the ability to drive safely in our neighborhood.
5. Section 5.01 Architectural and Design Review. As a reminder, you are required to submit plans and receive approval by the neighborhood review board before making changes to the exterior of houses, landscape and yards that are seen from the streets. This policy is to maintain the neighborhood look and property values in accordance with the covenants adopted by the neighborhood.
